Victor de Bonald
Victor de Bonald (1780–1871) was a French writer. He was the son of Louis Gabriel Ambroise de Bonald and followed his father into exile. After the Bourbon Restoration he was rector of the Academy of Montpellier, but lost the post during the Hundred Days. He regained it after the Second Restoration and resigned in 1830. He wrote Des vrais principes opposés aux erreurs du XIX siècle (1833), Moïse et les géologues modernes (1835), and a biography of his father.
