Aubas is a small commune in southwestern France. It is in the Dordogne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It belongs to the Sarlat-la-Canéda arrondissement and the Vallée de l’Homme canton, within the CC Vallée de l’Homme intercommunality. The area covers about 118 square kilometers. In 2023, about 614 people lived there, giving a density of roughly 35 inhabitants per square kilometer. The elevation ranges from 68 to 255 meters above sea level (about 75 m on average). The postal code is 24290 and the INSEE code is 24014. The coordinates are 45°04′56″N, 1°11′30″E. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Valène Dupuy. In Occitan, the town is called Aubàs.
