Battle of Tochar Cruachain-Bri-Ele
Battle of Tochar Cruacháin Brí Eile (Cruachán Brí Eile) took place in 1385 near Croghan, County Offaly, Ireland. The Gaelic kingdom of Uí Failghe, led by Murchad Ó Conchobhair, defeated the Norman-ruled Lordship of Ireland. The Gaelic victory came with heavy losses for the English side, including Nugent of Meath, a leader named Chambers and his son, and many other English chiefs and commoners.
