Free-flowering

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Free-flowering plants bloom for a long time and often don’t have a defined end to their flowering. They can produce flowers for many weeks or even year-round, especially in warm climates. The terms long-flowering and long-blooming are also used for perennials that bloom most of the year. Examples include salvias, thunbergias, loniceras, roses, lavenders, periwinkles, gaillardias, oleanders, begonias, bougainvilleas, morning glories, geraniums (pelargoniums), hibiscuses, and lantanas.
