City Assembly of Belgrade
City Assembly of Belgrade (Serbian Cyrillic: Скупштина града Београда, Skupština grada Beograda) is the unicameral city legislature of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It has 110 members elected for four-year terms by proportional representation.
The current president is Nikola Nikodijević of the SPS, in office since 21 June 2024. The Assembly meets at the Old Palace in Belgrade. Its official website is beograd.rs, and it operates under the City Charter.
Elections are held every four years. The most recent election was on 2 June 2024; the previous one was in 2023.
Composition: the government controls 64 seats, the opposition 45 seats, and 1 seat is vacant. The groups include several parties and coalitions on both sides.
