Ken Faulkner

Kenneth Gordon Faulkner (10 September 1923 – 2000) was an English football forward who played in the Football League for Birmingham City. He was born in Smethwick, Staffordshire, and began his career with Smethwick Highfield before joining Birmingham City. Faulkner made two league appearances for Birmingham between 1943 and 1947. During World War II, he played in wartime matches for Birmingham and made guest appearances for Coventry City and Port Vale. He debuted officially for Birmingham in the second-to-last game of the 1946–47 Second Division season, a 2–0 win at Millwall, playing at outside right. He was released in 1947 and joined Oldbury United. Faulkner died in Birmingham in 2000.
