1952 Victorian Legislative Council election
On Saturday 21 June 1952, the Australian state of Victoria held elections to elect 17 of its 34 Legislative Council members for six-year terms. Members were elected from single-member provinces using preferential voting. This was the first election after property qualifications for voting in the Legislative Council were removed, and it resulted in a large increase in Labor members in the Council.
