Bachelor's Paradise (1939 film)
Bachelors' Paradise (German: Paradies der Junggesellen) is a 1939 German comedy directed by Kurt Hoffmann. The film stars Heinz Rühmann, Josef Sieber, Hans Brausewetter, and Trude Marlen. It is based on a novel by Johannes Boldt and was shot at Babelsberg Studios in Berlin with art direction by Willi Herrmann. The film features the popular song "Das kann doch einen Seemann nicht erschüttern."
Plot
After his second divorce, Hugo Bartels and two ex-military friends form a "paradise for bachelors" club, pledging never to marry again. Hugo falls in love with a woman and faces a dilemma. He ultimately marries her after introducing his friends to his two ex-wives and helping them fall in love as well.
