Angel Heart is a Japanese manga created by Tsukasa Hojo. It started in 2001 in Weekly Comic Bunch and ran until 2010, collecting 33 volumes. After the magazine stopped print publication, the series moved to Monthly Comic Zenon with a new title, Angel Heart: 2nd Season, which ran from 2010 to 2017 and added 16 volumes. A republished edition called Angel Heart: 1st Season was released by Tokuma Shoten in 2012–2013 with 24 volumes.

Plot in brief
- The story follows a young woman who becomes known as Glass Heart, an assassin who has Kaori Makimura’s heart implanted inside her. Kaori is the late partner of City Hunter, Ryo Saeba.
- Glass Heart falls into a coma for a year. When she wakes in Shinjuku, she learns who the donor was and begins to encounter Ryo.
- Ryo, who has retired after his wife’s death, ends up adopting Glass Heart as his daughter and gives her the name Xiang Ying. The series follows their attempt to move on with a more ordinary life.

Media adaptations and reception
- An anime TV series produced by TMS aired 50 episodes from 2005 to 2006.
- A live-action TV drama adaptation aired in 2015 in Japan.
- An online English serialization began in 2016 on SMAC, though only a portion was published.
- In 2025, Discotek Media announced a North American Blu-ray release of the Angel Heart anime.
- The manga has sold about 25 million copies and shares characters with City Hunter, though it is not a direct continuation of that series.
