Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards
Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards recognize excellence in Nigerian and African broadcasting. The awards are held annually in Nigeria. The first ceremony took place on October 31, 2010. The idea for the awards came from Omogbolahan Akinwumi (formerly Kazeem Popoola), the chief operating officer of Reality Entertainment and Crystal Pearl Communications.
