Hidde Heutink
Hidde Derek Heutink (born 7 January 1993 in Oldenzaal) is a Dutch politician living in Enschede. He studied information technology management at ROC van Twente and worked in IT before entering politics. He was a substitute member of the Provincial Council of Overijssel from 2017 to 2019, replacing Edgar Mulder. He also briefly served as a municipal councillor in Almelo in 2018 and has been a municipal councillor in Enschede since 2022. He was elected to the Dutch House of Representatives for the Party for Freedom (PVV) in the 2023 general election and focuses on infrastructure and water management. In 2024 he supported safety measures for electric fatbikes, including a minimum riding age and helmet requirements, in line with other parties. On 20 January 2026, Heutink left the PVV with six other MPs to form the Markuszower Group, and he is now an independent member of parliament. He registered the domain nederlandsevrijheidsalliantie.nl for the new group on 16 January 2026.
