Portrait of Cardinal Bibbiena (Raphael)
Portrait of Cardinal Bibbiena (Ritratto del cardinale Bibbiena) is a painting by Raphael made around 1516. It shows Cardinal Bernardo Dovizi da Bibbiena, Pope Leo X’s private secretary. The artwork is oil on canvas, about 85 cm high and 66.3 cm wide, and it is kept in the Galleria Palatina at the Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Some experts say the painting looks more rigid than Raphael’s usual style, suggesting it might be by one of his pupils or could be a copy of a lost original by Raphael.
