KOMF-LP
KOMF-LP (later K225BS, 92.9 FM) was a Denver radio station run by the Open Media Foundation under the Denver Open Media brand. It mainly aired music from local Denver artists and programs created by about 500 local members who used Open Media facilities to produce radio and cable TV shows. The station transmitted from a former yellow-cab dispatch antenna in the Riverside North area of downtown Denver, serving the downtown region. On January 28, 2019, Open Media Foundation asked to cancel the KOMF-LP license at 104.7 FM, and Denver Open Media relaunched on 89.3 HD3 and 92.9 FM in partnership with KUVO. In 2025, K225BS began acting as a translator for KVCU Radio 1190, the University of Colorado Boulder’s student radio station.
