Bromsgrove Cricket Club
Bromsgrove Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club in Worcestershire, England. It was founded in 1842. The first team plays in the Birmingham and District Premier League, while the 3rd XI and 4th XI compete in the Worcestershire county leagues. The club has close ties with Worcestershire County Cricket Club. Players who have played for Worcestershire and Bromsgrove include Stephen Peters, Nadeem Malik, and Kadeer Ali. The club's most well-known player is Alexei Kervezee, who plays international cricket for the Netherlands. Former Indian Test cricketer Sairaj Bahutule also played for Bromsgrove in 1992. Other notable people linked to the club include footballer Kevin Poole, poet A. E. Housman, and Ben Cooper, a senior BBC Radio 1 executive.
