Tennessee Club–Overall Goodbar Building
The Tennessee Club–Overall Goodbar Building is a historic townhouse in Memphis, Tennessee. Located at 128–130 Court Avenue, it was built in 1888 and designed by architect Elah Terrell for two doctors, Overall and Peete. Confederate veteran Colonel William F. Taylor also had an office there. By 1890 the building became the home of the Tennessee Club, a social club founded in 1875. From 1907 to 1927 it housed the real estate firm Overton and Overton. The structure, also known as the Overall Goodbar Building, features Exotic Revival, Romanesque, and Moorish architectural styles. It occupies less than an acre and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 22, 1982 (NRHP reference number 82004056).
