Gustavo Campero is a Colombian professional baseball outfielder in the Los Angeles Angels organization. He was born on September 20, 1997, in Lorica, Colombia. He bats switch and throws right, and he made his MLB debut on September 15, 2024, for the Angels.

Career at a glance
- Signed with the New York Yankees as an international free agent on July 12, 2016, originally as a catcher before moving to the outfield.
- Debuted professionally in 2017 in the Dominican Summer League and Gulf Coast League. Limited by injury in 2018.
- 2019: Played for the Pulaski Yankees (rookie level), hitting .293/.374/.414 with 2 HR, 12 RBI, and 10 stolen bases in 36 games.
- 2020: Minor league season canceled due to COVID-19.
- December 10, 2020: Angels selected Campero in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft.

- 2024: Started with Rocket City, promoted to Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A) in August. Debuted in MLB on September 15, 2024, against the Houston Astros, earning an RBI in his first big-league game. For the Angels in 2024, he appeared in 13 games, batting .239 with 1 HR, 6 RBI, and 3 SB.
- 2025: Began the year in Triple-A; called up to the majors on April 29 after J.D. Davis was DFA’d. In 28 appearances for Los Angeles, he hit .172 with 3 HR, 8 RBI, and 4 SB. On August 12, he went on the injured list with a high left ankle sprain and was moved to the 60-day IL on September 1, ending his season.
- November 21, 2025: Non-tendered by the Angels, becoming a free agent. Re-signed with the Angels on a minor league contract on November 26, 2025.

International play
- Campero represents Colombia in international competition. In the 2023 World Baseball Classic, he appeared in five plate appearances, collecting one hit. In Colombia’s win over Mexico, a ball he hit helped set up the go-ahead run after an error by Luis Urías.
