Yatsushiro-gū
Yatsushiro-gū (八代宮) is a Shinto shrine in Yatsushiro city, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Its main festival is held on August 3 each year. It was founded in 1884 and enshrines the spirit (kami) of Prince Kaneyoshi. The shrine is one of the Fifteen Shrines of the Kenmu Restoration. In the old Shinto ranking system, it was classified as Kanpei-chūsha, a middle-ranked imperial shrine.
