Càlig is a small agricultural town in eastern Spain, in the Valencian Community, Castellón province, Baix Maestrat. It sits near the center of the comarca and is part of the Taula del Sénia association of municipalities. The town covers 27.5 square kilometers and is about 122 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2025, around 2,042 people live there. People from Càlig are called Calijó (men) and calijona (women). Valencian is the official language.

Càlig is surrounded by agricultural fields, especially almond and olive trees. There aren’t many fruit or orange trees in the area. The postal code is 12589. The time zone is CET (UTC+1) and CEST (UTC+2) in summer.
