1935 St. Louis Cardinals season
The 1935 St. Louis Cardinals played in the National League at Sportsman’s Park in St. Louis, Missouri. It was their 54th season in St. Louis and 44th in the National League. They finished with a 96–58 record (.623), placing second in the NL. The team was owned by Sam Breadon, with Branch Rickey as general manager and Frankie Frisch as manager. Pitcher Dizzy Dean won 25 or more games that season, becoming the last Cardinals pitcher in the 20th century to reach that mark.
