Zemplínske Hámre is a small village and municipality in Snina District, in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia. It is also known by the Hungarian name Jozsefhámor. The municipality became official in 1954.

Geography and population: The village sits at 347 metres above sea level and covers 8.44 square kilometres. As of 2024, about 1,291 people live there.

History: Before 1918, the area was part of Zemplén County in the Kingdom of Hungary. From 1939 to 1944 it belonged to the Slovak Republic. In the autumn of 1944, Soviet forces liberated the area, and it became part of Czechoslovakia again after the war.

People and religion (latest available data): In 2021, the population included Slovaks and small minorities such as Rusyns and others. The main religion was Roman Catholic, with some people reporting Greek Catholic, Orthodox, or no religion.
