State Route 270 (SR-270) is a short, 0.75-mile north–south highway entirely in Salt Lake City, Utah, along West Temple Street. It starts at West 900 South with ramps to I-15 and I-80 (exit 305D) and ends at US-89 at West 400 South (formerly SR-186). The road runs north the whole way and has two intersections with SR-269 (one eastbound and one westbound) before it reaches US-89. SR-270 was created in 1960 as a branch from the proposed I-15 to West 900 South and was extended north to US-89 in 1969. The route is maintained by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and lies entirely within Salt Lake City.
