Navana Group is a Bangladeshi business conglomerate based in Dhaka. Its flagship company, Navana Limited, has been the exclusive distributor of Toyota cars in Bangladesh since 1964. The group also operates in real estate, construction, energy, furniture, food, welding and electrodes, electronics, logistics, and building products. Shafiul Islam Kamal founded Navana Group and has served as chairman since 1996, with his family members on the board. In 1996, Navana Group became a separate legal entity from the Islam Group after the death of Kamal’s elder brother Jahurul Islam, who had led the Islam Group, then the largest business group in the country.
