To Save Humanity
To Save Humanity is a 2015 collection of 96 essays about global health. The pieces are written by people from very different backgrounds, including presidents, actors, top researchers, activists, and Nobel Prize winners. Each contributor answers one question: what is the most important thing for the future of global health over the next fifty years? The book was edited by Julio Frenk and Steven J. Hoffman. It has been praised as an unparalleled, practical guide to the big issues in global health and highlighted at major policy events. The Lancet notes that the book shows how complex global health politics are and that no single set of goals can cover everything. Some essays from the collection were published online by Vox under the title “One Change to Save the World.”
