Suzunosuke Akado: The Moonlight Monster is a 1957 Japanese fantasy drama film with striking special effects. It was directed by Bin Kato and is the second movie in the Suzunosuke Akado series, produced and distributed by Daiei Film. The story, based on Akado Suzunosuke by Tsunayoshi Takeuchi, follows young Suzunosuke Akado as he faces his best friend, who has joined a gang of criminals. The film stars Shoji Umewaka as Suzunosuke and Tamao Nakamura, with music by Urato Watanabe and cinematography by Hiroshi Imai.

The Moonlight Monster premiered in Japan on June 18, 1957. Later that year, a follow-up film, Suzunosuke Akado: Defeat the Demon-Faced Gang, was released on August 13. The Moonlight Monster was released on DVD by Victor Film on December 20, 2002.
