John Hogg (25 August 1879 – 1950) was a Scottish footballer who played as a full back. He was born in West Calder, Scotland. He began his career with West Calder Swifts (1898–1899), then played for Heart of Midlothian (1899–1900). From 1900 to 1906 he was with Middlesbrough, making 90 league appearances and scoring no goals. He later joined Luton Town in 1906. Hogg died in 1950.
