Tarsacq is a small town in south-western France. It is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It belongs to the Pau arrondissement and the Le Cœur de Béarn canton, and is part of the Lacq-Orthez community of communes. The area is 14.23 square kilometers. In 2023, 548 people lived there, giving a population density of about 130 inhabitants per square kilometer. The terrain ranges from 116 to 261 meters above sea level, with an average around 205 meters. The coordinates are 43°21′31″N, 0°32′12″W. The INSEE code is 64535 and the postal code is 64360. The Occitan name for the town is Tarsac. The current mayor (2020–2026) is Maithé Mirassou.
