Robert Wulnikowski
Robert Wulnikowski (born 11 July 1977 in Bydgoszcz, Poland) is a Polish-German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He started his career with Zawisza Bydgoszcz and joined FC Schalke 04’s youth team in 1990. He later played for several German clubs, including Schalke 04 II, 1. FC Union Berlin, Rot-Weiss Essen, VfR Aalen, Sportfreunde Siegen, Kickers Offenbach, RB Leipzig II, and Würzburger Kickers.
Wulnikowski gained fame in the 2010–11 DFB-Pokal when Offenbach beat Borussia Dortmund 4–2 in a penalty shootout after he saved two Dortmund penalties.
He retired from playing in 2017 and became a goalkeeping coach. He has worked as a coach for Würzburger Kickers and later for FC Ingolstadt 04. He is 1.92 meters tall.
