Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat
Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat was born on 8 February 1990 in Mersin, Turkey. She is a Turkish actress known for playing Targun Hatun in Kuruluş: Osman and for roles in Afili Aşk, Teşkilat, Baba, and Çilek Kokusu.
Bayat comes from a family of nomad Turks in the Taurus Mountains. Her surname Bayat is from one of the 12 Oğuz tribes. She studied law at Marmara University and later trained in theatre at Anadolu University State Conservatory. While at university, she worked behind the scenes in private theatres and won an award for the play Closer. She also studied acting in Spain after an internship. She first appeared on TV in Beyaz Gelincik (2006) and has since acted in many series, including Dünyayı Kurtaran Kadın.
She married actor Cansel Elçin on 24 August 2020, and they welcomed a son in January 2025. Her official website is www.zeyneptugcebayat.com.
