Jerald Hawkins
Jerald Hawkins is an American football offensive tackle born on October 16, 1993, in Baldwin, Louisiana. He played college football at LSU, where he was a three-year starter at tackle, beginning at right tackle for two years and moving to left tackle as a junior.
He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft (123rd overall). Hawkins spent time with several NFL teams, including the Steelers (2016–2018), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2019), the Houston Texans and then back to the Steelers (2020), the New England Patriots (2021), and the New Orleans Saints (2021). He appeared in 19 NFL games, with 1 start. His career was slowed by injuries, such as a shoulder injury in 2016 and a torn quad in 2018.
In 2023, Hawkins joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League and started one game that year. He was placed on the reserve/suspended list in May 2024 and became a free agent in February 2025 after his CFL contract ended.
