Peel (1982 film)
Peel (also known as An Exercise in Discipline – Peel) is a 1982 Australian short film written and directed by Jane Campion. A father travels with his son and sister, and an orange peel plays a significant role in the story. The nine-minute English-language film features Tim Pye, Katie Pye, and Ben Martin, with cinematography by Sally Bongers, editing by Jane Campion, and music by Ralph Tyrrell. It was produced by Ulla Rygh. Peel won the Short Film Palme d'Or at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival, making Campion the first woman to win the award.
