Pedakapavaram
Pedakapavaram is a village in the Akividu mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It lies near the Kolleru Lake bird sanctuary. In recent years the area has faced floods, which locals say are caused by illegal fishing in the lake. According to the 2011 census, Pedakapavaram had a population of 4,440 people (2,203 men and 2,237 women), with a sex ratio of 1,015 females per 1,000 males. There were 426 children aged 0–6, with a sex ratio of 945 for that age group. The literacy rate was 72.3%.
