Allium staticiforme
Allium staticiforme is a wild onion native to Greece and western Turkey, including the Aegean Islands. It belongs to the onion family (Amaryllidaceae) and the genus Allium. The species name is Allium staticiforme Sibth. & Sm. Over time it has been known by several other names, such as Allium flexuosum and Allium margaritaceum, among others. There are also described forms and subspecies, including Allium staticiforme f. flexuosum and Allium staticiforme subsp. flexuosum.
