Nino Marcelli (Slovak footballer)
Nino Marcelli (born 29 May 2005) is a Slovak footballer who plays as a left winger for Slovan Bratislava in the Niké Liga. He wears number 18.
Early life and youth career
- Born in Bratislava, Slovakia. His surname Marcelli comes from a distant Italian ancestor.

Career highlights
- At 16, he nearly stopped playing after a muscle injury during an AS Roma trial.
- In summer 2023, he trained with Slovan’s A team in Austria and played a friendly against Olimpija Ljubljana.
- Helped Slovan reach the group stage of the 2023/24 Conference League; Slovan finished second in the group with 10 points but were eliminated by Sturm Graz in the knockout round. Marcelli played eight Conference League matches that season, scoring no goals.
- League debut for Slovan came in a win over FC Košice, playing 80 minutes.
- On 31 July 2023, he signed a new four-year contract with Slovan.
- Scored his first top-flight goal on 12 August 2023 against MFK Skalica, opening the scoring in the 21st minute.
- Scored twice more in the next rounds against Zemplín Michalovce (4th and 23rd minutes) and added two goals against Banská Bystrica.
- In the spring season, he scored five more goals. In his first league season, he played 26 matches with 10 goals and 2 assists, helping Slovan win the league title (their sixth in a row, 30th overall).
- In 2024, Slovan advanced in the qualifying rounds of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League to reach the group stage for the first time in club history. They faced Celtic, Manchester City, AC Milan, Girona, and Dinamo Zagreb; Marcelli started every group game, but the team did not earn any points.
- Against AC Milan, he scored his first European competition goal in the 88th minute to make it 2–3, giving Slovan hope but they still lost. After this match, he became the most valuable player in the Slovak league, and AC Milan made an offer to buy him, which Slovan declined.
- He scored his first league goal of the 2024/25 season against Komárno, giving Slovan the lead in the opening match.
- Youth international experience includes Slovakia U15, U16, U19; he played at the U20 World Cup with Slovakia, where they beat Fiji in the group stage but lost 5–1 to Colombia in the knockout round (he did not score). He also played for Slovakia U21 in the 2025 European Under-21 Championship.
