Gobius ateriformis is a small marine fish in the goby family (Gobiidae). It is found only around Cape Verde and lives in tide pools up to 11 meters deep. It grows to about 6.8 cm in length. The species was described in 2001 by Alberto Brito and Peter J. Miller. Classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Actinopterygii; Order Gobiiformes; Family Gobiidae; Genus Gobius; Species Gobius ateriformis. Conservation status: Least Concern (IUCN 3.1).
