Boulazac Isle Manoire
Boulazac Isle Manoire is a commune in the Dordogne department in southwestern France. It was formed on January 1, 2016, by merging Boulazac, Atur, and Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire, and Sainte-Marie-de-Chignac joined on January 1, 2017. It lies in the Périgueux arrondissement and the Isle-Manoire canton, and is part of the Le Grand Périgueux intercommunality. The area covers about 156 square kilometers. In 2023, about 10,759 people lived there, giving a density of around 192 inhabitants per square kilometer. The mayor for 2024–2026 is Fanny Castaignede. Niversac station in Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire provides rail connections to Bordeaux, Périgueux, Brive-la-Gaillarde, and Agen. The INSEE code is 24053 and the postal code is 24750.
