Nimboran language
Nimboran (Nambrong, Namblong, Namlong) is a Papuan language in the Foja Range Nimboran language family. It is spoken in Nimboran District, Jayapura Regency, in Papua, Indonesia, in about 26 villages to the west of Lake Sentani. Today, most speakers are older adults, and younger people are shifting to Papuan Malay. In 1987, about 3,500 people were Nimboran, with around 2,000 native speakers.
