Petanjci is a small village in northeastern Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the Mura River, in the Tišina Municipality within the Prekmurje region. The area is 7.64 square kilometers and sits about 196 meters above sea level. In 2002, 676 people lived there. The village has a small Neo-Gothic chapel dedicated to Saint Florian, built in the early 20th century. It is also known as Szécsénykút in Hungarian.
