Necyria bellona
Necyria bellona, the bellona metalmark, is a butterfly in the family Riodinidae. It lives across most of South America. The butterfly has a slender body and a wingspan of about 30–40 mm. Its wings are deep black with metallic red spots or curved red and glossy blue bands. There are several recognised subspecies.
