The Canton of Auzances is in central France, in the Creuse department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is a farming and woodland area centered on the town of Auzances, which sits in the Aubusson arrondissement. The canton covers 702.39 square kilometers and contains 35 communes; the seat is Auzances. In 2023, the population was 7,389, with a density of about 10.5 inhabitants per square kilometer.

Elevation ranges from about 390 meters to 776 meters above sea level, averaging around 603 meters. In 2015, a national canton reform expanded the area from 12 to 35 communes.
