National Highway 7 (Cambodia)
National Highway 7 (also National Road No. 7, 10007) is a major road in Cambodia and part of the Asian Highway Network (AH11). It runs 509.17 km from Skuon to Trapeang Kreal, the border crossing with Laos. The highway helps connect Phnom Penh to Vientiane by linking with Route 13 in Laos and following the Mekong River toward Luang Prabang. In 2004, it was announced that the road would be partly rebuilt with help from the Chinese government. The project, costing about US$80 million, was carried out by Shanghai Construction Group and officially opened on 29 April 2008.
