2017 Men's Ford National Hockey League
The 2017 Men's Ford National Hockey League was the 19th edition of New Zealand's men’s field hockey tournament. It took place in Wellington from 16 to 24 September at the National Hockey Stadium. Eight teams competed, and North Harbour won their fifth title by beating Auckland 5–3 in the final. Capital finished third after a 6–1 win over Southern in the bronze medal match. Across 24 matches, 134 goals were scored (an average of 5.58 per game). The top scorer was Samuel Lane with 13 goals, and the best player was Arun Panchia.
