Evans Kangwa
Evans Kangwa (born 9 October 1992) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Abha in the Saudi First Division League. He was born in Kasama, Zambia.
Kangwa started his career with Nkana in Zambia. He spent time on loan at Hapoel Ra'anana in Israel during 2014–2015 and then joined them permanently for 2015–2016. He later played for Gaziantepspor in Turkey (2016–2017) before moving to Russia to join Arsenal Tula (2017–2023). In 2023 he played for Qingdao Hainiu in China, and in 2025 he joined Abha in Saudi Arabia.
Internationally, Kangwa has represented Zambia since 2011, earning 29 caps and scoring 3 goals. He was part of Zambia’s under-20 squad that won the COSAFA U-20 Championship in 2011 and has been involved with the senior national team in major tournaments, including being named in squads for Africa Cup of Nations in 2012 and 2015. His younger brother, Kings Kangwa, also plays for the Zambian national team.
Career highlights include his first league goal for Hapoel Ra'anana in 2014, a brace for Gaziantepspor in 2016, and his first Russian Premier League goal for Arsenal Tula in 2017. He extended his contract with Arsenal Tula in 2021 before leaving in 2023.
