Mukundapuram Taluk
Mukundapuram Taluk is a tehsil in Thrissur district, Kerala, India. It is part of the Irinjalakuda Revenue Division and its headquarters are in Irinjalakuda. The taluk was formed in 1762 by the Cochin king. In 2013, when Chalakudy taluk was created, Mukundapuram lost most of its territory. Today it comprises 29 villages. The official languages are Malayalam and English. The time zone is Indian Standard Time (UTC+5:30) and the vehicle registration code is KL.
