Ingvald Berentin Aase (5 February 1882 – 23 May 1948) was a Norwegian trade unionist and politician. He was born in Bergen, the son of Baste Olsen Aase and Marta Mundal. He had basic schooling and trained as a painter, earning a craftsman’s certificate in 1907. He managed Bergens Malerverksted from 1914 to 1923.

Aase led local unions in Bergen and was active in city politics. He chaired the painters’ union group in Bergen from 1912 to 1916 and led Bergen faglige samorg in 1917. He served on Bergen city council from 1916 to 1933, and on the executive committee from 1919 to 1931. From 1921 to 1928 he headed the local branch of his political parties.

He was elected to the Parliament of Norway from Bergen in 1921, 1924 and 1927, serving from 1922 to 1930. During his first term he moved from the Labour Party to the Communist Party, and during his third term he returned to Labour.

In 1930 he became a secretary in the Norwegian Union of Building Workers and became its chairman in 1933. From 1934 until his death in 1948 he was treasurer of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. He also served on the board of the newspaper Arbeidet.
