Tornado Alicia Black
Tornado Alicia Black (born May 12, 1998) is an American former tennis player from Boca Raton, Florida. She trained with Rick Macci, who also coached Serena and Venus Williams. Black won two ITF singles titles and reached her best rankings of No. 404 in singles (February 2, 2015) and No. 348 in doubles (September 14, 2015). She was the runner-up at the 2013 Junior US Open, losing to Ana Konjuh in three sets. Black made her WTA main-draw debut at the 2014 Abierto Mexicano Telcel after receiving a wildcard, and she lost to Bojana Jovanovski in straight sets. Tornado and her younger sister Tyra, nicknamed Hurricane, were once described as the next Williams sisters. In 2017 she suffered a hip injury and used GoFundMe to raise $40,000 for surgery; her last professional match was in March 2017.
