Seán Keane (Irish politician)
Seán Keane (14 September 1899 – 29 March 1953) was an Irish politician and publican. He belonged to the Labour Party and served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for Cork East. Keane was elected to Dáil Éireann in the 1948 general election and was re-elected in 1951. He died in office in 1953, and the by-election to fill his seat was won by Richard Barry of Fine Gael.
