Mono Pond State Park Reserve is a public park in Columbia, Connecticut, about 8 miles southwest of Willimantic. It covers 218 acres and surrounds Mono Pond, a 113-acre lake that is about 3.5 feet deep on average, with depths near the dam reaching up to 9 feet. The park sits at about 541 feet in elevation and was established in 2008. It is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. Visitors can fish, hike, picnic, cross-country ski, and bow hunt. There is a boat launch for motorized boats up to 8 horsepower and for non-motorized boats.
