Laura Karasek
Laura Karasek (born 29 April 1982 in Hamburg) is a German author, television presenter, lawyer, columnist and actor. After finishing school, she studied law in Berlin, Frankfurt and Paris. In 2011 she started working for the law firm Clifford Chance and later worked as a corporate lawyer in Frankfurt. Karasek has appeared on TV shows such as Markus Lanz, Kölner Treff, NDR Talk Show and ZDF-Fernsehgarten. She married Dominic Briggs in 2013 and they have twins born in 2015. From December 2021 she took on an editorial role for Florian Schroeder's Satire Show on ARD. In 2022 she co-founded PEN Berlin.
