Manohar Sharma
Manohar Ratanlal Sharma (born 8 August 1940 in Indore) is a former Indian first-class cricketer who played mainly for Madhya Pradesh and Services between 1959/60 and 1975/76. He was a right-handed batsman who often opened the innings, an occasional wicket-keeper, and a part-time off-spin bowler.
In 66 first-class matches, Sharma scored 3,733 runs at about 37.7 per innings, including nine centuries and 18 fifties, with a top score of 170. He also took 16 wickets and made 45 catches with five stumpings.
He played most of his Ranji Trophy cricket for Madhya Pradesh and Services, and appeared for Hyderabad Cricket Association XI in the Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup. He was never selected for the Indian national team but represented Central Zone and North Zone in the Duleep Trophy.
In 2010, he published Humour in Cricket. Off the field, Sharma has held cricket administration roles, including vice president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association and chairman of its cricket development committee. By 2015, he was president of the Hyderabad State Veterans Cricket Association.
