Germán Sánchez (racing driver)
Germán Sánchez Flor (born 4 July 1989 in Alicante) is a Spanish racing driver who competed in Formula Three and Formula Two.
He began car racing at 16 in the 2006 Spanish Formula Three Championship with Escuela Profiltek in a Dallara F300, and was eligible for the Copa de España because he drove an older car. He won the Copa de España with seven wins in 15 races and finished 13th in the main championship.
In 2007 he moved to Campos Racing for the main championship, finishing fourth overall with two wins (Albacete and Jerez) and two third-place finishes (Jerez and Barcelona).
He stayed with Campos in 2008, winning at Albacete, at the Valencia Street Circuit (one of the first races there to help the circuit gain its Grand Prix license), Magny-Cours, and Valencia, to take the title ahead of Nelson Panciatici, despite a non-scoring finale in Barcelona.
In 2009 he moved up to the FIA Formula Two Championship, driving car number 27. He finished 24th in the standings, with his best results being two eighth-place finishes at Imola, and he missed the races in Barcelona.
